Simoon

Our Home

Purchased in 1999, Simoon sits on seven lovely acres near Locust Grove, Virginia

Three acres are fenced for the dogs with a buffer of two wooded acres on either side of the cleared property.
There are two large yards with six foot chain link for the dogs to play and potty in, with an additional perimeter fenced yard comprising
the remainder of the three acres. We frequently hold small lure coursing practices. Our own and visiting dogs
love to wade and swim in the small stocked pond on hot summer days. The Simoon Family Meeting is held
here every year in July.

The house is approximately 2200 square feet with an open floor plan. The dogs come and go as they
please in to the largest of the smaller yards through a dog door. The geriatric crew accesses the smaller
dog yard from the front door where they can utilize the "handicapped" dog ramp or the porch steps as
they please.
