Beautiful, versatile, exceptional!
Essari was BISS at the 2000 National Specialty in St. Louis, MO and again
in Remington, VA in 2005
Following in her Mother's and Aunt Celie's footsteps, Essari was the third
and last Azawakh to
be awarded the prestigious FCC coursing title.
She's took out time out in the summer of 2001 to raise a litter of pups
(G Litter).
Essari chose Multi CH. Idi Issa 'n shat-ehad, owned by Jennifer Sheik and
bred by Ursula Arnold for the father of her litter.
In 2003, Essari was bred by Jeloun 'n shat-ehad, FCh for the Simoon I
Litter
She was #1 Azawakh in ASFA Lure Coursing for 2001 & 2002.
Kel Simoon Elkem
Owned and adored by Andra Walters, Ontario, Canada
Shown lightly in the US (Azawakhs aren't able to show under
CKC rules), Elkem is always in the ribbons
and works the crowd with his silly grins and fun loving attitude. He is also
a great
favorite when he travels with Andra's Ibizan Hounds to coursing meets
both in the US and Canada. Elkem is the father of the Kel Simoon F
Litter with Tagalas.
CH. Kel Simoon Emecheta
Owned by Marion Wieslag, Germany
Emecheta has been very successful in both show and
racing. Her conformation titles include a German Championship,
and she won the World Racing Championship in 1999. She was also a German
racing Champion in 1998
and has a performance document.
Emecheta has never been bred.
Kel Simoon Ezel

"The King of Naughty"
Ezel hasn't done much in the show ring or on the coursing field, but he
makes up for his lack of
success in that venue by being EXTRA intelligent. He's working at the Novice
obedience level
and does Canine Freestyle with Deb (when her ankle is working). Ezel really
enjoys
Freestyle (dancing with dogs) because he loves to drive Deb crazy by self
choreographing the routine without prior notice! He also excels at counter
surfing, oven thieving, cabinet shopping, trash scavenging and
has even taught himself how to open car doors to check for edible trash within.
Truly an Einstein of a hound!
Kel Simoon Ederi
Owned by Colleen and Michael Taylor, Fairfax, VA
Ederi rules over all the Doberman rescues that turn up at the Taylor's.
He's an adept butt biter and keeps everyone in line.
Kel Simoon Ehder
"Lick"
Lick was my loving soul mate and companion. He didn't "do" much, but we
shared
a close bond unlike any I've ever experienced. Unfortunately Lick
had
some psychological and medical issues that necessitated his being
euthanized at three years of age. We tried to work through his problems with
every method we knew of, but nothing was working. I finally had to
give up. I miss him everyday of my life and hope that someday
he'll come back to me someday in the body of a healthy, happy hound.
